WLMStatus IRC-Chat

Hey all,

Last weeks we've been very busy developing the site and now you see the result: localized support, a nice forum, Premium services and some 1000-2000 slots. Now i did what i had to do: install an IRC chatting server.

you can access the server using mIRC or any other IRC-client.

Server: irc.wlmstatus.net
Chatrooms: #wlmstatus, #wlmstatussupport, #wlmstatuschat

YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO CREATE YOUR OWN ROOMS. ASK ME IF YOU WANT ONE.

1- Start mIRC
The first step, and probably the hardest: start mIRC. When you've installed it, you'll find it under Start->All Programs->mIRC (unless you've changed it!).

2- Choose a server. if you see the window of the next step, skip thisone.

Click the "Select Server..." in the "File" menu.

3- Add the server
Now go to the "servers" tab at the left and click on it. You'll see a window like this:
Click "add".

4- Provide server details

Provide all server data as shown above and click "add".

5- Choose the server

Make sure your newly created server is selected in the selectbox.
then click "ok".

6- Connect to the server

Oh well, you'll know what to do..

7- Select a channel
mIRC provides a list of not-existing channels on this server.
Enter "#wlmstatus" in the "Enter a channel name and click join"-field and click "Join" (duh!)


8- Start chatting!

to change your nick: /nick
to change channel: /join #channel
