Today I'm happy to announce a special competition for/with WLMStatus, which will take place in the following months: the "WLMStatus Server Competition". Whoever runs a new WLMStatus image server long and stable enough, gets a
free 3-months subscription to WLMStatus Premium! So what are the requirements to participate in this competition?
- Your server must meet the requirements listed on the WLMStatus home page (to repeat, MySQL, mod_rewrite, and some more bandwidth as usually).
- For participation in the competition, it must support at least 2,000 user slots (my freehoster servers run 500 slots usually).
- If you want to take part, you have to reply in this thread and contact me on Messenger. You can find my messenger address in my signature and my profile.
- After WLMStatus files have been installed, the service must run 3 weeks (21 days) without any severe harm on your server. A tracker will be set up to ensure quality and possible downtimes.
- After 21 days, you qualify for getting into the inner round of choice for WLMStatus Premium.
- Up to 7 people win a free 3-months Premium subscription. First comes, first wins.
- To keep your Premium account during that time, you need to keep your image server online. Servers that go offline will make their owners lose the subscription and be downgraded to normal WLMStatus.
Additional notes about the competition, its duration and its official guidelines will be published as soon as the competition starts.

WLMStatus Premium Free Servers Competition
In order to qualify for the WLMStatus Free Servers Competition and claim any reward or participation, you must abide by these terms and rules as setforth below. If you do not agree with these terms or violate any of them, you will be automatically eliminated from this competition. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN! Contest is open to residents of the world ages 16 and up.
1. HOW TO ENTER
a. Launch a WLMStatus Capable Server meeting the Minimum System Requirements (mysql, mod_rewrite, lots of bandwidth)
b. Offer at LEAST 2,000 Free User Slots on your server for the duration of the contest. (Minimum 3 weeks)
c. Notify support@wlmstatus.net by Email when you're ready to have WLMStatus Files Installed on your server and server activated
2. ELIGIBILITY
a. Residents of the world, aged 16 and higher are elgible to win. Technology Pulse Employees and their immediate families are not eligible to win.
3. WINNER NOTIFICATION
a. Winners will be notified by E-Mail with the first winner being drawn on May 19th, 2008 and consecutive winners being drawn every three weeks.
b. Winner has 72 hours to respond to Winning E-Mail Notification before another winner will be chosen.
4. PRIZE
a. Up to (7) WLMStatus Premium Accounts with 3-months Prepaid Subscription Time will be distributed upon the completion of the contest.
